Rear arb bushes

Hi folks , currently refreshing the rear suspension on my 2008 gti , having a problem with the rear arb bushes, ordered a set of bushes complete with brackets and bolts when I came to fit them the internal diameter of the bush is way to small . I believe I need 20.7 diameter is this correct? , any suggestions and if possible a part number, thanks in anticipation Colin.

Exhaust light on - P0401 Error Code from reader

Hi guys,

Just driving home now and out of nowhere, the exhaust light comes on and stays on. Absolutely no issues with the rest of my drive? Car was driving and sounds fine.

Ran a code check on the driveway and I get a 'P0401' fault code.

Thoughts? I've got a 2007 1.6 FSi, petrol.

An update, I rang the local VW main dealers early this morning, (JCT 600), I gave them the part number which I read from the top of the activated carbon/charcoal canister currently fitted to the vehicle, i.e. 08 model, which was ZSB 1K0 201 801I, they told me that part number had been superseded, but would not give out the corr

A subjective topic I guess with many having their own preferences and driving styles. A bit like asking best engine oil to use.

Personally I went for MTEC grooved discs with Mintex (Sprint) pads. The same (but model specific) pads I use in a 968CS and have never regretted it. Spoke to a Mintex techie told him I was looking for a hard on-off sprint/twisties braking equiva

Thanks. Have bookmarked a couple of suppliers, LLL being one of them. Other OEM side cover options are from Lithuania or Latvia. Either way, nothing in the UK unless it's ebay for used and marked ones.

Don’t like shouting out bad news but you’ve said that it’s been sitting. Maybe rod bearings? I would try dumping a few cans of engine flush additives. Make sure there isn’t a double oring on the oil filter housing.

@stealthwolf There is a row of clips on the top and bottom, I pried them out with a screw driver and pulled them out. Have to be careful tho as they can snap quite easily

I remember a few years ago reading that what someone had done with theirs after replacing the lumbar support a few times and it repeatedly breaking, they cable tied the two pieces together and it worked well for them. Unfortunately I can't give you any more information because I haven't had one of these seats apart, but I hope that's of some help to you.

Help!
Hi, I have problem of my throttle body, It is open 100% all the time. And i am getting 11.8 V, 3.2 V, 12.2V and 0 volts on the wiring harness. What is the correct voltage of the wiring harness? I checked also at the pcm and gott the same voltage.
The car is VW golf plus 1.9 tdi automatic gear, 2007 model.

Yeah, the pump was $100 so no regrets. I'll sell the old one for $40 and I at least know that I can rely on the new one when I push for more power.

Milltek exhaust leak

Hi guys, I’ve fitted a cat back Milltek exhaust and after a few days I’ve noticed some soot on the clamps.
I did it as I saw it on another forum with the clamps being on the end of connections.
I’ve also put some GumGum exhaust paste before sliding the parts together.
Is there a specific torque for the clamp bolts? I did it hand tight, didn’t wanted to use an impac
